My Journey

My journey began as a young teacher, fresh and full of aspirations. Over the years, I found myself growing not just as an educator, but also as an individual. The classroom taught me as much as I taught in it – patience, empathy, and the beautiful art of learning.

When I became a mother to a special needs child, my understanding of learning and education took an even deeper turn. It was a journey of challenges and triumphs, of tears and smiles, and of witnessing firsthand the transformative power of patience and dedication.

My Mission

Through my experiences, I realized the immense impact that teachers and parents can have on shaping a child’s life. I discovered alternative techniques and insights to positively affect a child’s life, and I was inspired to share this knowledge with others.

This is what led me to write 1, 2, 3 with Mrs. C, a testament to resilience, a guide to setting goals, handling failure, and fostering self-esteem in children. It’s my tribute to all those daring souls who make a difference in a child’s life. It’s my hope that this book will inspire more of you to become a “momenteur” – a word I coined to encapsulate the magic of making every moment a learning experience.

Going Forward

As I move forward, I aim to continue my mission to make a positive difference in children’s lives. Whether it’s through my book, speaking engagements, or simply sharing my thoughts here on this website, I am committed to empowering parents, teachers, and anyone who interacts with children.
